26-29 March 2020 – Barcelona Yoga Retreat
City break or yoga retreat? If you can’t decide between the two then why not combine the best of both worlds with our Spring retreat in March…
Often when we go on a yoga retreat we pick a tranquil location that is a million miles away from our every day life. We relax, reset, and then return straight back to the city-life mentality. GO GO GO!
How about an alternative? On our Barcelona long-weekend retreat, we’ll combine the relaxation of a yoga retreat with the buzz of city life. We’ll wake slowly and move through an early morning yoga and meditation practice whilst the rest of the city springs into action.
We’ll nourish our bodies with a heavenly brunch and then step out into the city with a sense of calm and ease that allows us to be aware of the action around us, but not affected by it. After a day spent exploring the art, architecture, local cuisine or simply soaking in the Spanish sunshine on the beach, we’ll slip back into a tranquil yin practice and then head back out for dinner as Spain really comes to life.
When: Thursday 26th – Sunday 29th March, 2020
Where: A beautiful modern house in the heart of Barcelona. The building dates back to 1890 and is a catalogued example of Gaudi’s modernistic movement. The house retains much of it’s old charm but with a modern simplicity. Located in a nice, quiet street just a few minutes walk away from the central gothic neighbourhood and 10 minute walk to the closest beach.
The Yoga: I am a certified Vinyasa Flow & Yin yoga teacher offering dynamic morning classes in the energising Vinyasa style and early evening classes will be a mixture of restorative yin and gentle flow.
Who: The retreat is open to all-levels, whether you are a complete beginner looking to immerse yourself in the practice or a long-time practitioner wanting an active and revitalising holiday! Feel free to come alone, or with a friend, yoga retreats are always a great place to make new connections as we each share the same passion for health and well-being.
“Dance all night long and practice yoga the next day. Drink wine, but don’t forget your green juice. Eat chocolate when your heart wants it and kale salad when your body needs it” – Rachel Brathen (Yoga Girl) – a girl after our own heart!

“I loved the retreat, had a great time, and experienced types of yoga that I didn’t even realise existed before…it has really whetted my appetite to seek out a more challenging practice in the future. I thought the balance of yoga and relaxation time was just right; it stretched me but not to the very limit” – Nicky.
“Really was a great experience and something I’d definitely do again!” – Mamie.
“Beautiful setting, wonderful food and a relaxed style retreat. A lovely variation of activities, I felt truly rejuvenated” – Lucy.
